Templates will be made available on EnergizeColorado.com and via Colorado business organizations
DENVER, May 14, 2020 – Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) has partnered with Energize Colorado to release business templates (https://energizecolorado.com/reopen-your-business/) that offer best practices, direction, and information on how businesses can restart operations safely and effectively.
“In these unprecedented times, the Colorado business community seeks the guidance and practical tools to confidently plan for a safe opening that fully aligns with state and local public policy.” said Marie Logsden, leader of Reopening Initiatives for Energize Colorado. “These templates provide that support for a wide variety of businesses, from a manufacturer in Pueblo, to a bike shop in Fruita, a corner market in Crestone, or a nonprofit HQ in Denver. Each day we have questions coming in from every corner of the state and we will continue to learn, update, and expand these resources as we go.”
The templates were developed in partnership with Kroger, who has been a leader in evolving better practices as an essential business. They are available in a variety of formats for ease of use. They will be followed by in-depth webinars, and a suite of additional tools to be released over the coming weeks and hosted by Energize Colorado. The four key areas of focus in this round are:
